PPWR

Suppliers & data requests

The address book for material data — and the campaign you use to collect what is missing.

Why a separate address book?

Most of the mandatory data under the PPWR does not sit with you but with your supplier: recycled content per component, PFAS and heavy-metal levels, recyclability, material composition. Without those values the declaration of conformity stays incomplete.

The address book holds contact details per supplier, the material groups they supply and the history of requests. From it comes the bulk campaign: a ready-made data request that goes to several suppliers at once and whose answers flow back into the product data.

When do I add a supplier?

  • As soon as a value is missing. The data hub shows gaps per product. Whoever should fill them belongs in the address book.
  • Before the first campaign. A request without a recorded material group asks for too much or too little.
  • On a change of plant. Batch-level evidence is tied to the plant. A second site is a second entry.

Step by step

  1. 1

    Add the supplier

Company, contact, email. The material groups decide which fields the request asks for.

  2. 2

    Assemble the campaign

Select the products and components with missing data. Reguly groups them per supplier.

  3. 3

    Send the request

Each supplier gets an email in their stored language with a link to a form — no account needed.

  4. 4

    Take the answers over

Incoming values appear for review. Accepted entries carry the supplier as their source.

  5. 5

    Chase what is open

The status per request shows what is open, overdue or declined.

The email goes out in the supplier’s language

The request language is tied to the supplier record, not to your interface language. A French supplier gets the request in French even if you run Reguly in English.

Common questions

Does the supplier need a Reguly account?
No. They get a link to a form, enter the values and submit. Only your acceptance turns that into a record.
What happens on a refusal?
It is recorded with date and reason. That matters for the declaration of conformity: you demanded the information and can prove it.
