Users & plans (admin)

This area is only visible to Reguly admins and our developers. Here you see all Reguly accounts of your organisation, you can curate roles, manually adjust plans and reactivate accounts in emergencies.

Admin only

Who has access?

Only members with the role Admin or Developer see this menu item in the dashboard. When you do not see this area, your role is more restrictive — talk to your account admin.

With power comes responsibility

Actions in the admin area are usually immediate and affect all team members. Coordinate with colleagues before changing anything.

What can you do here?

  • Account overview: All members with status, last login, current role.
  • Change roles: Quickly adjust the role per member without opening the team area.
  • Plan override: When Reguly should move you between plan tiers due to a special arrangement, this is the place.
  • Activate beta features: You can switch on beta features for your organisation (e.g. new DPP templates).
  • Reset actions: Lift security lockouts, reset 2FA per member, invalidate sessions.
  • Admin audit log: Own overview of all admin actions — see also under 'Insights → Audit log'.

Beta features

In the 'Beta' tab you see a list of features we are testing. You can enable them per area and provide feedback via a small feedback button. Beta features can change at short notice — we use feedback to improve them.

Reset actions explained

  • Reset 2FA: When a member lost their 2FA device. Sets 2FA to inactive — the member must re-register it on next login.
  • Invalidate sessions: Logs the member out on all devices. Useful after a personnel change.
  • Lift lockout: When a member is locked out after too many failed attempts.

FAQ

Can I accidentally destroy a plan?
No — critical actions (e.g. delete account, cancel plan) require a second confirmation. When in doubt, ask us briefly.
Who is 'Developer'?
A special role for Reguly customer-success staff who can help with your account in emergencies. Every access is logged in the admin audit log; you can deactivate the role any time.
Where do I see admin actions?
In the 'Admin audit log' tab. There you find every admin and developer action with timestamp, member and affected area.
