Content
In the content area you manage all brand videos and their thumbnails. This content is reachable via QR codes on the packaging — and also appears on your public brand page.
Why brand videos?
- Tell the product story: Show how and where your product is created.
- Instructions: Step-by-step guides for use or recycling.
- Sustainability messages: What do you do for environment and climate? A 90-second video says more than 200 words.
- Consumer engagement: Whoever watches your video feels connected — scans lead to higher repurchase rates.
Step by step
- 1
Open content
In the dashboard under 'Marketing → Content'. You see all existing videos and thumbnails as a table.
- 2
Add new video
Click 'Add video'. Upload the file (MP4 recommended, max. 200 MB) or link a YouTube/Vimeo video.
- 3
Fill in metadata
Title, description, language, tags. Optional: subtitle file (.srt or .vtt) — important for accessibility.
- 4
Pick thumbnail
Reguly automatically extracts three suggestions from the video. Pick one or upload your own image (min. 1280×720 px).
- 5
Link with products
Pick one or several products this video belongs to. The link controls where the video appears (DPP, brand page, QR codes).
- 6
Publish
With 'Publish' the video goes live. You can deactivate or delete it any time.
Tips for good brand videos
- Length: 30–90 seconds — consumers scan briefly, not long.
- Format: Vertical (9:16) for mobile-first, horizontal (16:9) for web. Reguly supports both.
- Subtitles: Mandatory. Many consumers watch without sound.
- First frame: A clear, calm frame — avoid noise or motion in the first moment.
- Call to action: What should the consumer do? 'More info at reguly.eu' is enough.

Storage and privacy
Videos are stored on Reguly servers in the EU (GDPR-compliant). We set no cookies, share no data with third parties and only count anonymously how often a video was viewed. When your plan includes analytics, you see these numbers aggregated per video.
