Analytics
Who scans your QR codes? Which product is opened most often? Where are the heatmaps of consumer attention? Analytics in Reguly shows you all that — anonymously, GDPR-compliant and without cookie-banner crutches.

What you see in analytics
- Scan reach: How often were your QR codes (DPP + video) scanned? Per day, week, month.
- Geography: From which countries and regions do scans come? (Resolution: country + state.)
- Devices: iOS, Android, desktop. Helps optimise the brand page.
- Top products: Which products are seen most often? Which content (videos, certificates) gets the most attention?
- Time on page: How long do consumers stay on the page after scanning?
- Bounce rate: How often do consumers immediately leave? Hint at improvement potential in layout.
How is analytics structured?
In the dashboard under Insights → Analytics you find five tabs:
- Overview: Top metrics for the chosen period.
- Scan heatmap: Geographic distribution of scans.
- Products: Top lists and trends per product.
- Content: Which videos, certificates, sections are opened?
- Funnels: How many scans lead to an action (e.g. newsletter signup)?
Privacy
No cookies, no people
Reguly Analytics uses no tracking cookies and collects no personal data. We measure anonymised events (path, device category, country, timestamp). You therefore need no cookie banner — a simple note in the privacy policy is enough.
Export and integration
You can export every chart as PNG or the raw data as CSV. To analyse Reguly data in your own BI system (e.g. Looker, Power BI), use the public API with an API key — see API keys.
FAQ
How accurate is the scan geography?
We resolve to country + state level, not city or postcode. That protects consumers from profiling. For marketing analyses this accuracy is almost always enough.
Are bots filtered?
Yes. Reguly recognises typical bot patterns (user agents, scanning frequencies) and filters them out. What you see in analytics are real scans.
How long is data stored?
Analytics data is kept for 24 months. After that it is aggregated and detailed points are deleted.
Can I set up conversion tracking?
Yes, in the 'Funnels' tab. You define step 1 (e.g. scan) and step 2 (e.g. clicking 'Subscribe to newsletter'), and Reguly shows you the conversion rate.
