Getting started with Reguly

This guide walks you through the most important stops in ten minutes — from first sign-in to a finished DOC. Ideal when someone hands you the platform and you need to ramp up fast.

Before you start

You only need three things:

  • An invitation or an active plan (you receive an email with a login link).
  • A few basics about your brand: name, logo, contact email.
  • At least one product with packaging data that you want to document.

Don't have an account yet?

Reach out via the contact form. We will set up a free trial for you and walk you through the system.

Step by step

  1. 1

Sign in and fill the brand profile

Click the login link from the invitation email. You land in the dashboard directly. Click 'Master data → Brand' in the top navigation and fill the fields: brand name, logo, address, contact email. These details automatically appear on your declarations of conformity and product passports later.

  2. 2

    Create your first product

Switch to 'Master data → Products' and click 'New product'. Enter name, category and ideally a GTIN (barcode number). If you know packaging data (material, weight, recyclate share), enter it here — it is the basis for PPWR reports and DOCs.

  3. 3

    Check compliance status

Open 'PPWR → Roadmap'. Reguly shows you at a glance which obligations are currently relevant for your brand and the state you are in. The roadmap behaves like an interactive checklist — tick what you have done, and Reguly suggests the next steps automatically.

  4. 4

    Create your first DOC

Go to 'PPWR → DOC generator'. Pick your product, fill in any missing data and click 'Generate'. You get a finished declaration of conformity as a PDF — ready to download or to store in your compliance vault.

  5. 5

    Optional: request supplier data

If you are missing recyclate shares or material data, use 'PPWR → Data hub → Data request'. Reguly sends your supplier a simple form to fill in — the data lands automatically in your product master data.

  6. 6

    Turn on the tour (anytime)

In the dashboard top right under 'Account → Tours' you find guided tours for every key area. They walk you through the system step by step — you can pause, end and resume them later.

What comes next?

Once you have created a first DOC, the next step is usually one of these three:

  • Packaging-register report: Report quantities to LUCID — see Packaging register.
  • Digital product passport: If you want to offer DPPs already today — see DPP generator.
  • Publish brand page: Show off your marketing data — see Website editor.

Tip

Briefly read the key concepts first — it saves later questions and makes every other page easier to follow.
